Paro

Hi

I need some help and advise if possible. I use to work in Gibraltar but recently have moved to Mallorca. Ive got a job but I'm only on a 6 months contract and i know is quite difficult to find job over a winter time - especially here. I heard about spanish unemployment benefit - Paro. I know that you need to work for at least a year in the past 5 years to get it. But if any one know if i can count my 9 months from Gibraltar as well??? I know that some people use to claim Paro after working in Gib but dont realy know how is that work. Please post me if any of you have some informations about it.
