Hey everyone, my wife and I are moving from Germany to Spain in August. We have all the usual questions that the new Barca residents have, but our case in special in that I'm an EU citizen (Italy). I've asked around on several message boards about health care, and all that I'm hearing is that we should probably go with Sanitas.
But here's my question...Once we receive our residence permits (5 years for my wife, I believe), aren't we then able to sign up for free national healthcare? Our total income is around 2600 euros.
If Sanitas and other private companies are our only options, I'll understand. But I'm pretty sure we can sign up for the national plan. Any thoughts?
Also, we would like to start language school as soon as we arrive. What are the best/most reputable language schools?
Thanks a lot guys!
