I thought i should post this one moving tip that most people forget about and it causes problems and extra costs on the day of your move, which we know everyone could do without !!! At matthew james removals we understand about the problems that arise on the day of the actual move. ACCESS / PARKING for the REMOVAL VEHICLE. Time and time again when we are delivering to major cities or a small villa up in the mountains, the customer has forgotten to tell us that you can?t park or even access their property with a large vehicle. SO our TIP is to check for access and parking before you obtain a quote for your removal as these will end up being an extra added cost that you were not prepared for. Extra Charges are added if there is:

Transhipment to smaller vehicle
Long walk or stairs from vehicle to property
Parking restrictions
No road to the property
Road too narrow

So don’t forget if you haven’t had a visit from a moving professional to take a visual of your property you must let the removal company know of any of above before quoting for your move.
