Hello to all again.

I have a question about the financial proof required to apply for residency.

The information seems to be vague and scattered so I would be grateful for clarity.

I live in a non EU country and although I understand that I have to open a Spanish bank account, I am reluctant to put more than I have to into a foreign bank until I know that I have received residency, them I can move more money over.

"Applicant must have sufficient funds to not be a drain on the State system"

How much is the minimum required ? How much is "sufficient" ?

Would a translated and notarized bank statement from a foreign bank account be acceptable ?

Thank you all in advance for good helpful comments.
