Hello,
I am retired and looking for a place to live in Spain for a year. Have narrowed search down to Salamanca or Granada and would be grateful for any thoughts or sharing of experience from others. Am looking for a place that has life, but I also relish quiet. Would like to be able to attend lectures, art exhibitions and classes -- preferably in English but could handle them in Spanish to a degree.
For a number of reasons I'm inclined towards Salamanca, but what I don't know is just how loud and boisterous it might be with its high student population. Thoughts?
Salamanca or Granada?
