This is an urgent matter, so I hope someone can help.

I am British and obtained residencia in Fuengirola today.
My wife is Thai and we got married eight years ago in Thailand.

My Spanish solicitor is saying that my wife has to go back to Bangkok to validate our marriage, however, if she does that she will not get another visa to return here for three months, since the Schengen allowance is 90 days in any 180.

However, her visa will expire next week.

Should we put in for her to be able to stay with me ASAP and fudge it (ie get papers as and when they are needed?). The marriage certificate can be validated by a third party in BKK.

Any ideas would be much appreciated 😊
