Gym's in Spain & Expats

I am a personal trainer in the USA, and contemplating moving to Spain. I would like to be along the Med. coast. How are the coastal town's and are there many gym's there. Places like Alicante, Cartagena, Marbella. Where are the greatest concentration of expats? It would be great to socialize with other English speaking folks.
