Guys,

Please help me with the following, i really need to sort my decision out very soon and am starting to worry slightly, so just want a bit of advice, maybe some calming influences for me here…

Basically, Im moving to Spain at the end of this month to live, in my first few days there im going to be doing a bit of travelling to and from meetings to get sorted before i start work. For example i ll be based in Calpe, Alicante and will need to travel up and down to Valencia a couple of times in the first few days.

What, in your opinions is the best way to do this, i fear car rental may be the best way, but i ve never done this before so im not so sure as to how it works or if its the best thing for me to do rather than getting buses and trains etc.

Im landing in Alicante and will need to travel down to Calpe, then after a day or two i ll have to travel back up to Valencia, then back again. Would you recomment car rental? Who is the best companies to use? And how would it be for a Brit to drive for the first time over there?

The other problem i have is getting from Calpe to Valencia and vice versa, does anyone have any experience of making this trip?? Can anyone lead me to good direction or web links that would make this easier??

I would appreciate any help that anyone could give.
