Hello,

A recent article in The Economist, ?Many happy returns?, described long-term research showing that property yields more than shares and bonds. I?m on the verge of making my first home purchase (unleveraged). According to the article, rental yields account for about half of the long-run return on housing. So owning a diversified portfolio of rent-yielding property is superior to pure home ownership. I?m interested in learning more about the process of buying additional homes and using them for rental income and would welcome hearing about other people?s experiences.
