we have a house in gran alacant & are thinking of moving to aspe.

though we have visited aspe many times i would like some real inside info on the pro’s or cons of aspe from a resident.

Lived there until July 31st. A cute quaint town with friendly people. There is a british pub or two there, and a restaurant down one of the walks in the center of town. Culturally lacking in things to do there. They have a new sports pavillion that’s nice however. There are mercadona, hiperber, and dia supermercados; two ice cream shops in the center, market on monday and thursday (I think), a few videoclubs, 5 pharmacies, and so on…Hate the light on that one lane stretch of Avenida de Elche.

As far as small towns go, its ok. But if you want a bit more of night life, Aspe is not the place to find it unless you like 2 discoteques full of screaming teenagers!

Not really into night life so not a problem.

The sports centre looks quite good, not been in yet.

We are looking at the Saint Elena development, are you familiar with it ?

If so any thoughts on it.
