With regard to the NIE numbers do children need to have one (12 and 10 years old)
I was under the impression that you needed one to open bank accounts buy property and work etc all of which the kids won’t be doing.
The reason I ask is I have found a company that will apply on your behalf even when you still live in the UK but they have qouted me for 4 NIE’s.
The people that doe this in case anyone is interested is http://www.lawbird.com obviousley there is a charge but it could take a lot of hassle out of your move process (plenty of other things to organise).
Any help regarding the kids would be great.
