I am planning on being in Spain from January to April.  I fly into amsterdam on new years and fly out the 23rd of april. 113 days.  Will they let me leave the U.S. without a visa since my return is later than 90 days?  And could I just spend 3 weeks in Czech or romania and be cool with the whole 90 days in 180 days thing? I’m trying to move to Spain, but don’t necessarily have the time to follow proper channels, and would like to come back to the states for a week or two for a friends wedding in April.  I am just worried if they’ll will let me out of the U.S., or into Holland.

why nit apply for two visas, one for holland, and one for spain. that should give you twice the time.

my friend flew out of the USA with a one way ticket to Spain and no one batted an eyelid! She did leave the EU and come back in order to get another 90 day stamp in her passport when the previous one was running out, but in the end when she actually returned to the USA she had overstayed her 90 days and again no one batted an eyelid - perhaps she was lucky, perhaps that’s the way it is - assuming you are a US citizen?
