can we have a permanent resident in england and permanent resident in spain

hi there i’m trying to move to spain as my wife is a spaniard and got the job in madrid !we are thinking to move to spain and to get the resident permit there ,but as we have been living in the uk for 5 years i do have the permanent resident in the uk ,so my question is if we go to spain and apply for the resident permit there ,are they gona cancel my uk permanent resident ? how long does it take to apply for the spanish citizenship ?and how long i have to wait to get it as we have been married for 5 years with the libro de famillia called familly book ? do u think that when i get to spain i can apply for the citizenship as soon as they issu me with the resident permit ? plzzzzzzzzz i need helppppppppppppp as soon as possible ,i’m just over the moon with this story ,i want to be with my wife in spain but with the freedom to follow no more immigration control and visassssssssss i’m sick and tired of it .plz i seek helpppppppppppppppppp plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

You cannot be resident in 2 countries at the same time. I would think that if you are legally married to a Spaniard that you will not have to many problems. Suggest you come to Spain and with her Spanish she can make the relevant enquiries and applications etc and the fact that she has a work contract I think you will be issued with a Residence certificate and health services etc.
