I've noticed some problems here in La Manga (Murcia) with my Telefonica broadband connection being unable to connect to my own site (http://www.apartment-in-lamanga.com) and now I can't check my Yahoo mail (http://mail.yahoo.com).

Is anyone else on Telefonica broadband able to reach these sites?

I haven't set anything to block spam sites. Everything was working fine until a few days ago and I don't know what's causing this. Any ideas?

It may have to do with where your server is located.

I have a managed dedicated server in the UK (As a hobbie I work on and host database backends), some of my database customers would contact me to say they couldn't connect to their sites, I could with Telefonica, but after a tracert was performed by one of the clients it was discovered there was a routing issue with Ya in the route they used to the server. My manager changed something that corrected this but it wasn't the fault of the data centre it was the fault of Ya couldn't handle some of the protocall 'or something like that'. I can try and look back on my tickets to see what the exact problem was if you like but getting a tracert when the problem exists and sending it to your ISP should be able to tell you if routing is the problem. (BTW, This is nothing to do with your router that may be connected to your PC)

Hope this helps
