Can anyone help me with an english teaching job?

Hello people.
I am a greek cypriot man who has been living in the UK for the last 9 years.
I have qualifications from Uk universities and they include a BA degree and a Masters degree.
I have been speaking English since the age of 8 and I am fluent in the language.
I want to immigrate to Spain and ideally find an english teaching job.
I have no experience but I have heard that some companies including Vaughan would employ an EU citizen without any experience and train them fully.
I have applied with them but still no response.
Does anyone know any other companies who would do the same?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I've heard nightmare stories about Vaughn, avoid them is what I've been told.

I've been with Berlitz for six years now. Great company to work for andthey will train you up. As long as you have a neutral accent then no problem. Don'y belive any of the horror stires about them. Good company with a worldwide reputation and they can offer plenty of classes.

They have offices in a few different citites in Spain.

In my experience, I'd call them and arrange to go and see them.

I was wondering if you can answer some of my questions though.
Why is Vaughan bad to work for?
Any ideas?
And what are the horror stories about Berlitz?

As a matter of fact I have applied to Berlitz as well.
They sent me an automatic reply email and they said that they will either contact me or they will keep my application on file for the next 6 months. No one has contacted me since.
Quite frankly I have made so many applications -over 10- and I have only heard from 1.
Club Ivy.
The salary was low though. I am still considering it.

Surely it cant be that difficult.

Now I am thinking of getting a TEFL certificate to help me with my job hunting.

Where in Spain are you based?
I thought I'd try Madrid first as its a big city and there are more opportunities. One hopes.

Hi

You must phone Berlitz. Don't wait for them to contact you. They are a good company to work for and don't let anyone tell you any different.

If I were you, work for a company which is globally recognised and you reduce your chances of being exploited.
