I'd be really interested to hear from anyone who is currently teaching English as a second langauge in any of the international schools in Spain.

I'd love to know how you got your foot in the international school door and where you saw the job advertised.

I have an MA in TESOL but have not heard back from any of the international schools that I have applied for. Is an MA in TESOL not a suitable qualification for teaching ESL in Spain? Would I have more chance if I had a CELTA or CELTYL qualification?

I worked really hard to achieve my MA in TESOL and feel very disappointed that this is still not enough to get even an interview at an international school.

Could anyone please advise where I am going wrong?

Btw, I am a British national with seven years TESOL experience.

Sounds like a good road to travel down.

Thanks.
