Accountancy Software - what are Spanish accountants most comfortable with?

Hi folks
I'm moving with my family to Cantabria next month and intend to be tax resident from the day we arrive. I have a UK limited company of which I am one of the paid employees but I also intend to set up an SL here, partly to fulfil a similar function to a branch of the UK company and partly as I wish to start up another business using the SL. For the UK company, we use Sage accountancy software but I have, in the past, used MYOB and prefer it. I have had a look at the respective websites and see that Sage have a Spanish site but MYOB don't.

My question is - is there an accountancy programme that is the most commonly used/preferred in Spain? If so, would I be better using this or could I use MYOB? Or, should I use Sage (is it common in Spain?)? Sage is good for reporting but MYOB is much more straightforward for a non-specialist!

If there are any accountants out there or anyone with business experience in this area, I would be very grateful for any help or advice you could give!

Kind regards

Sean, that's a surprisingly good question. I should know the answer to this but I don't.

Anyone else use computer software for their books? I've always used accountants (contabilidad) myself - they're a lot cheaper in Spain than those back home.
