Hi There
I'm hoping someone may be able to advise me ..I am going to travel around Spain for a year and am finding it hard to find a car insurance policy that offers more then 90 days european cover.
Have you got any suggestions of companies that do longer cover or ways to work around this.
Also my van is a Japanese import so not sure if i would get insurance for it from Spain..??
Any advice is much appreicated.

there few company that have the market rap up in spain and the UK (RED TELPHONE ON WHEELS )

We used them for 3 years before we realised there are lots of other companies giving the same cover for less.
Shop around.

Might be difficult as 90+ days makes you a resident of Spain.
If you know somebody in Spain, you could give there address as your residence and get cover in Spain.
Even if you managed to get cover, it`ll probably be high as your goin to be doin more miles than a normal driver, plus your in a foreign country.
It maybe useful to contact one of the Motor home sites to see who they use.

Suggest you talk to a qualified Insurance broker.
