In order to improve my listening skills I would like to display the subtitles for the deaf which, according to the TV guides, are available on most Spanish TV channels. Apparently they are on teletext page 888 but I'm not sure how to access this - I have the Telefonica digital TV package. Has anyone worked out how to do this?

Thanks but unfortunately I don't have this option on my remote, either for the TV itself or the digital box. Any other ideas?

I might be wrong but...................
I thought teletext was not available on digital TV via the decoder box ???????

I think you're right Rob, though it seems bizarre that deaf people can't see subtitles if they have digital TV, only if they have analog. (I should point out that I'm not deaf, but having Spanish subtitles really helps you understand the dialogue - I always do this when watching DVDs).
Maybe someone else has cracked it?
