My Canadian boyfriend and I (British) are buying a bar in the Canaries.  We were told that if we got married, that this
would make the whole visa issue easier, so we plan to marry within the next few months back in the UK.  What will this mean for my husband-to-be?  Will he still need a visa to live there, or will the fact that the business is in my name and I have an NIE make a difference?  What should he do to make himself ‘legal’?  Any advice would be much appreciated.
