Received the following today. This is the ol’ Nigerian 419 scam I believe. Anyone else receiving them? Please post them here!

LA SRA. MYRIAM MONGA
ABIY?N, COSTA DE MARFIL
CORREO ELECTR?NICO: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

M? tambi? no tengo ningunos parientes cercanos.

Me cont?te me sobre mi correo electr?ico priva: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Am?.

La Sra. Myriam Monga

what to see are junk and spam mail box at work lol , An advance fee fraud is a confidence trick in which the target is persuaded to advance sums of money in the hope of realizing a very much larger gain.[1] Among the variations on this type of scam, are the Nigerian Letter (also called the 419 fraud, Nigerian scam, Nigerian bank scam, or Nigerian money offer[2]),[3] the Spanish Prisoner, the Black money scam as well as Russian/Ukrainian scam (also extremely widespread, though far less popular than the former). Both the so-called Russian and Nigerian scams stand for wholly dissimilar organised crime traditions, they therefore tend to use altogether different breeds of approaches.

I have not had any of those in Spanish yet, I have a good spam filter and I just looked, there are a few in English! LOL

I never see these emails but I am surprised that anyone actually goes for it.

Apparently I won $20,000 last week and guess what? I had to pay 15 quid to receive my cheque, I did ask that they take their share from my winnings and post the rest——hmmm for some reason I had to send it first! 😉

Delete all emails where they say you have “won” something, there is always a catch

I have an anonymous yahoo account in the name of my cat, for those sites that force you to register when you’d rather not etc.  Imagine my surprise to learn that my cat actually shares a name with numerous Nigerian dignitaries and diamond fortune heirs, who have specifically sought him out to facilitate the transfer of their assets out of Africa!  Unfortunately aforementioned feline does not have bank details to send to them so he is clearly missing out on great riches, nor can he claim his many lottery winnings from around the world,
