I'm British and my wife is Chinese we are hoping to move to Spain but are having some visa problems.

If we can get a Schengen Visa and enter the country can we convert to a long term residence permit

we are also looking or need help in the same thing husband British and wife kenyan,, my wife has been to uk twice with 5 yrs tourist visa we live in kenya now but want to move to spain been married for 4 yrs can she get in Spain with tourist visa then change to residency while we are in Spain?pls help
