did you know you cn add more channels to you sly box .

Start by selecting: Services, 4 (System Setup), 4 (Add Channels).

This will get you to a menu with 6 Items on it . (sky+ box) -> This will get you to a menu with 9 Items on it

From the top item on the menu (Frequency GHz): key in the 5 digits for the frequency, ignore the decimal point. key in 10803

Use the down arrow to move to the H / V setting. Use the left / right arrows to set the correct polarity. H right Arrow

Dont alter the Symbol Rate and FEC unless you know you have to. (For most channels you won’t have to). 22000 again you right Arrow FFC is 5/6 ues your Arrow

Scroll down to the Find Channels option, and press ” Yellow “button .

Choose your channel(s), scroll down to each one you want, and press the Yellow button.

to save press Select

back up to get out off system setup

Press “Sky” to get back to the main tv channels (or “Backup” if you want to add more channels).

Press “Services”, 6 (Other Channels), then scroll up and down the list until you find the one you want, then press “Select” to watch or listen.


To get back to the main tv channels at any point, press “Sky”

Irish boxes if you add channels you still watch them via Added channels botten if blocked for copyrights

and you can now add ITV HD to your Sky HD box - as long as you have the new sky hd software / epg….so ITVHD (a very limited servies i hasten to add - they just put on HD football and thats about all at the momnet) is no longer a Freesat “exclusive”.

i do try to keep an updated list of alternate frequencies…and if they need a sky card to view…on my site (hope jurdyr will keep the link in as I know he uses it also!)
