My husband and I are planning on flying into a country other than Spain and traveling around Europe for 1 months to 3 months. We plan to then end our traveling and settle down in Spain for the summer and work there at a place that pays cash. We hope to stay in spain for at least 6-8 months. I am curious what type of visa I should get with these travel/illegal work plans.
We really want to stay in Spain as a perminant resident and hope to gain residency at some point down the line.
We are confused about the type of visa needed due to the length of time we plan to spend in other countries before getting to spain, and then the infinite amount of time we would like to stay in spain for.

Employers can be heavily fined for paying cash - thats assuming they are even employing people during the crisis - Spain currently has Europes highest unemployment.
