Please can anyone tell me if it is legal for the Administrator- Committee to change the way fees are calculated without allowing owners to vote at an AGM. It is my understanding that the cuota is no longer used, and has been replaced by surface area. This has now doubled the fees of apartment owners, yet drasticaly cut the fees of villa owners.

Many thanks

I would very much doubt this is legal - usually the method is specified in your escritura. Take legal advice or check withyour administrators.

Rob Thanks for the information.

Does anyone know what method is used to calculate community charges.

I have been given the quota for my parchela, this includes 3 apartment blocks, with a total of 60 apartments. I know the quota for my property, should it be easy to work out.

Many thanks
