I am a lawyer in the UK, 42 years old, married without children and looking for a break from the old life. At the moment, we are both on a 12 month sabbatical and are living in Barcelona having been studying at a Spanish language school since September. So our level of Spanish is good. I have a degree in geography (Durham University), an Msc in International Relations (London School of Economics) and have been a qualified barrister for fourteen years. My wife has similar qualifications (English and Law) and she also speaks Greek. We are both interested in Spain and in all things Hispano-American (the literature, politics, culture etc) and are keen to find employment that would suit our qualifications. Law/intergovernmental affairs/teaching are the areas that interest us. I am very interested in knowing what opportunities are out there. If anybody could offer me advice or direct me to a particular organisation, I would be grateful.
