I am a foreign veterinarian working in human cancer research in the US for the last 3 years. I have been thinking of moving to Spain (husband is a spaniard), but have been hesitant since I am not fluent in Spanish and am not sure about the focus on veterinary medicine in Spain. I would like to work in the para-clinical field like Radiology, Diagnostics or Pathology. Does any one know if para clinical veterinary medicine is a viable option in Spain? Is there any focus on scientific research in Spain?
