I’m a newly-minted EU citizen, thanks to my Irish grandmother. (I’m also American). Back in October, I received my residency, and now I’d like to get my young daughter her residency (to which she is now entitled, as a family member of an EU citizen). The nagging question is this: Since my daughter has been here for more than two years - illegally - will/can the Spanish authorities decline her residency now? I tend to think not, but maybe I’m just being overly optimistic…
