Hi , just joined and have been reading alot.  My parents retired to Estepona in 1972 .For the first few years my Dad would travel across a border , either Portugal or Morrocco every 90 days, stay a few days and re-enter Spain . He would then have a “tourist” stamp for the next 3 months .  After a few years he stopped leaving . He said ”  The Guardia know who I am they know I have steady income so Im not going to worry about it .  He lived there for 25 years with out any problems .  I lived there for 2 years 81 and 82 and did the same thing , really didnt worry bout it either .  So my question is .  Can one still live as a tourist   for longer then the 90 days by exiting and re-entering with a US passport .  Also Can an Artist ( painter ) legally sell his wares without a work visa . I did this before and want to do it again.    I miss Spain , still have a few friends and am ready to live there for 3 months of the year .  Thanks for reading this rather long winded text.  :zip:                Cheers Geoff
