Hi, I just wanted to flag up a new ruling from a Spanish High Court that affects Brits who have sold Spanish properties. If you sold a property in Spain between July 2004 and December 2006 then you were overcharged Capital Gains Tax by 133% (you should have been charged 15% CGT but were charged 35% instead) and could be in line for a rebate. The first British couple has just been successful in reclaiming their money - if you think this affects you, please see the website we have created especially for those who may have lost out: spanishtaxreclaim Hope this is of interest. Will, on behalf of HiFX.
