If i am an american male, who wants to marry a spaniard. how does that work? do i have to live their a sertain amount of time, or do they need proof that i have been dating and visiting this person for several months even a years? since same sex marriages are not existant in america, does that make it difficult for us to marry? would that mean that i have to give up my american passport to marry him, and stay in barcelona?
