i cant believe 17% unemployed, its around 7% here in the UK and thats bad enough, what are people doing for money, after your state benifit runs out what can you do.

how long is the spanish reccesion expected to last.

i think they need to seriouly stop, getting things manifactured cheaply abroad and build there own industrys.

what industrys does spain have apart from tourism, contruction and agriculture.

anybody in spain who can let us know how bad it is

4.2 Million Unemployed 5 Million By Late August… Early September
All above are on “Paro”... After that mmmm Not sure..
Expats Leaving Spain Some To most Handing back there house keys to the Banks… as they cannot afford it…
Life is “Slightly Tough” but manageable

Most of the people here have there heads screwed tightly on and riding out la crisis to the end.. by Doing odd jobs fruit picking cleaning pools so on… Or worshipping the sun on the beach.

Financial Analysts think 2010 will be the end of la Crisis..

With all the above yeap no jobs granted but Spain is still a great place to live if you know how to survive…

Houses are cheap on Tv Last Night they were showing the Properties for sale and rent… The amount of Completed & uncompleted Houses and Apartments are amazing figure… Spain built to many homes for the people LIVING IN SPAIN.. but the construction companies went with the boom and built built built!!!

Its said that Repos houses and apartments from banks are selling VERY Very Cheap like near 50% off!

Not all bad for the people that have money in the crisis!

i think hey should give the unemployed GUNS after the PARO runs out and say heres your chance! “take for you want” should be the new moto for spain.

everybody burns their money at feria time, although saying that, struggling, living on a little is a way of life in spain.

its only recently they started to spend spend spend, probly because they saw the tourist do it, and the young started to visit other countrys, many came to london.

where getting jobs is easy and everyone seems to have money to burn.

i hope things get better next month because am moving there.

Things Will get better… Its a matter of Time… I think late this year or early next year it will settle.

Spain for me is still No 1 I am not leaving… No matter what the problems…

I guess I have been lucky and like I say In most of my posts I blend and adapt to the spanish life the language the food everything… this also helped me have new friends… (Even Though pretty much all my Family are Spanish!!) I learnt more being here than I would in the UK…. Theres pros and cons in everything when you move…

Yeap… Not wrong Jurdy…

I just been out for a walk along the coast… And 3 people are wearing surgical masks!!!!! This is in Salou…

3 Hotels are Boarded up “BEST HOTELS” in Cap Salou I couldnt believe it!!!!!

Spoke to my good friend who owns a 4 star hotel “Sun Club” and bookings are WAY WAY WAY down aparently much as 32% he said is trying discounts with free tickets to Port Aventura…

He did say the Irish Tourists are not phased by the “La Crisis” there always in Salou he says!

With this Swine flu going around…. and the death toll going up its a matter of time before they stop travel… They stop when the death toll reaches over a certain amount goes to show we are nothing but a number!
