Although I have not lived/worked in Seville before (I am more Costa del Sol/Malaga to Sotogrande end)... I do know from living near a larger town/city has its benefits.
I am sure I remember from my visits to Seville that places like Dos Hermanos have great train connections (although possibly not the best place in the world to live!)
I ‘think’ Los Osunas is not too far away? and is a thriving town. Very ‘Spanish’, so likely you will have limited choice on Ex Pat friends, but presuming you have worked that out by choosing Seville.
Just know that Seville is the ‘frying pan handle’ of that part of the world. I.e it is one of the hottest places in the summer. Hope you are woking/living in an air conditioned environment. (I remember many of the shops shut in July/Aug and the city goes quiet as everyone has headed for the coast. There are also lots of great cafes/restaurants that make a point of advertising they have air con!)
If you do get any time off - head for a day to San Lucar de Baremeda, Jerez and Cadiz. 😊
Have a great time and let us know how you all get on. (Sounds like a mini exodus 😉
