Has anyone any experience of sponsorship? I am organising a 2010 five day Costa Blanca tour of the Irish Guards Singers. This is a 35-strong choir / assistants made up of retirees; ex-servicemen. IGS are a registered charity.
Obviously costs need to be met. It has been suggested that I approach firms for sponsorship. This is a brilliant idea to my marketing mind. Imagine the mileage an appropriate company could get out of an association like that.
Have you any idea how many servicemen, ex and serving, are heading Spain?s way; and their relatives, associations etc. What a scoop for a property developers, (MASA, Atlas) or appropriate publisher.
The only thing I am stuck on is ?price and package?; I am in the dark as to what value can be placed and asked on a sponsorship deal? Publicity, sales by association, pictures etc on websites and publications throughout the UK and Ireland. At ?150 a head I reckon about ?3,500 - ?4,000. Have you any suggestions, you entrepreneurs and impresarios? Michael.
