Hi

I have sold a car to a friend here and am leaving the country before she gets the chance to go to the Jefatura De Tr?fico to transfer ownership.

Reading the article here (http://www.spainexpat.com/spain/information/buying_and_selling_a_second_hand_car_in_spain/ng_a_second_hand_car_in_spain/) I have 2 questions:

1. “If he/she (the seller) cannot be there, you will need copies of all the car documents, his/her documents, and a signed declaration allowing you to make the transfer in his/her name.”

Is a simple signed declaration OK or does it need to be witnessed by anybody, notarised etc?

2. The link to the Solicitud is broken. Amybody have one that works?
