Hi Everyone,
I am currently looking for a sales job in Spain, preferably in either Madrid or Barcelona although other areas would definately be considered.
I currrently work for BT in the UK as a Premium Account Manager and before that I worked for 3 Mobile as a Sales Associate / Sales Driver. I also have sales experience from other jobs that I have held.
I have seen some jobs advertised for Investment Sales and this is definately something that interests me a great deal however from reading information on various forums I definately do not just want to jump into the wrong company.
I would only need to provide my current employer with a 1 week notice period and would be willing to move out immediately after that.
If anyone has any positions available or if you could advise on the best place to start I would really appreciate it.
Kind regards,
Chris Hales

You don't mention whether you speak Spanish or not - this will make a big difference to your job prospects and earnings.

Hi,
I am currently in the process of learning Spanish however I am far from fluent. I know many people that have worked in Spain previously without being totally fluent however I am still studying hard to become fluent myself.

Hi guys,
Just wanted to say thanks for the help. I now have a job in Marbella as a fractional property broker and I am in the process of trying to get everything sorted for my move.
Thanks again
Chris

Hi Chris, like Rob I would like to know what "a fractional property broker" is. The pay, is it mainly commission or straight
salary ? Best of luck.

Is it one of those people who are really friendly until they realise you don`t want/can`t afford the product there selling, then they put the phone down on you.
I get them constantly everyday, one of the benefits of being the boss.
On Wednesday I get the call from some guy, "How are you today Sir, can I call you Santiago" then how is my day conversation, then the sell "We`ve got a one of promo today blah blah blah"
So e mail the details I say.
I will and I`ll call you back tommorrow.
Today is 3 days later, I`ve no E Mail or contact form my new friend.
But I`m currently playing with my new Blackberry that I found myself on a cheaper tariff and low buying cost than my friend couldn`t be bothered supplying.
I love sales ars8990es.

Hi Santi,
One of the responsibilities of being the boss is to sell whatever it is you do. I hope your customers are a little more understanding when you are selling. I would still like Chris to say for himself what it is he does when he starts brokering.

I don`t cold sell.
I have more respect for myself and my clients.
I also don`t lick butt, I`m not making so little that I need too.

No marketing (cold selling), no advertising (cold selling), no PR (cold selling), no being nice to the clients (butt licking), no cost control (butt licking), no pets (butt licking). Santi, you are my hero, you are the man. Would you lick a lollypop ?
England regain th ashes. And how ? With style. Worth waiting for.
