Hi everyone,

I recently accepted a teaching position in el Pa?s Vasco and I was wondering if anyone could help me with some information regarding public transportation. The school I’m placed in is located in Azpeitia in the Guip?zcoa region. It’s pretty much in the middle of el Pa?s Vasco and the closest large city is San Sebasti?n, some 25 km away. I’m really hoping to live in San Sebasti?n and I’m wondering if there’s any daily public transportation (train or bus) that reaches Azpeitia. I know Renfe is a railway company in San Sebasti?n but I couldn’t really get much out of their website to see if their trains reach Azpeitia. So, for anyone out there familiar with the region and the public transportation, is this possible?

I really appreciate any type of input. Thanks a lot.

Although your in the sticks

Or RENFE here.

Unfortunatly Pais Vasco does not have a Bus service from small town to town.

Although when your there you may find something, but lookin at the map there isn`t a train station for miles.

I hope your basque language skills is good as well.
