We recently moved house and I was planning on exchanging my license for a spanish one because I no longer have a UK address, everything was running smoothly until this moment:

Me:  “luke, my driving license isn’t in with the important documents, which box did you put it in?”
Luke: “I didn’t touch your license I thought you picked it up.”
Me: GULP

We searched the house from top to bottom and even went back to the old place to look and nothing!!!

I called the DVLA and they won’t reissue a license because I don’t have a UK address! I don’t have any family in the UK so I can’t get one posted to their address and I really don’t know what to do! I need to drive for work and I can’t afford to take the whole test again! Nor do I have the time to be honest!

PLEASE HELP!!!

Thanks guys

Emma

You will have to apply for a spanish licence. even though dvla will not send you a new licence, they will send you a certificate of driving entitlement which you can then use in Spain to obtain a Spanish licence.

It’ll cost you ?5 or so to cover the cost of issuing a D737 certificate.
