I am living in NW Murcia and have recently found a property that I am interested in buying. I have NIE but not residencia. One or two expats I have met here have mentioned that I would pay less tax on the purchase if I did have residencia but many others disagree. Anybody know for certain. Are there other benefits I would gain from residencia?
