Some where in this forum ROB posted a Price list of All the TELCOs Prices…

Hopefully he may pass by and see this and post it again!

God forgive me but…..... Telefonica are doing 6mb and Phone line for “NEW CUSTOMERS” for ?19.09 a month as per Adverts.
Jazztel are doing an offer as well but not sure of prices its ment to be free for 3 months?

This maybe a weird one….

You could always Build a big fire outside and start learning smoke signals?

Just I don’t think you be able to display webpages 😊

Go with Jazztel as their level of customer service is a world apart.

I complained to Telef in writing. I didnt get a reply. When I spoke to them about it they said they had a policy of not replying to complaints.

That was the final straw. I changed as soon as I could.

You pays yer money and yous takes a chance - as they say. Big can be beautiful (Telefonica) it just depends on your area and what (if any) problems you get.

But for comparison have a look here:

http://www.usuariosteleco.es/InformacionInteres/Precios/

and download the PDF.

PS That site is very informative of your rights regarding comms in Spain etc etc and you can lodge a ‘denuncia’

Don’t know what that is ? - then find out it is a useful ‘weapon’

If telefonica can’t provide you with DSL then forget to look at other providers, as they work over telefonica’s network. You’ll have to look for wifi/wimax or 3G solutions.

Working with a 3G dongle is quite trivial. It depends completly on the operator 3G coverage.  Before buying one make sure you have good 3G coverage, and try with three different operators (Some zones are covered by only one operator).

Note also that as we’re speaking about RF things can fluctuate. One friend of mine goes every summer to his second house in the south of spain, last year he connected hi speed with his mobile + notebook, this year same place, same mobile, same pc, and he had to go somewhere else with the car to get a minimum decent connection to check email.
