I am a student from USA and booked my return flight 17 days after my 120 day student visa expires.

i hear all these stories of fines, 5 year no re-entry bans, and getting in trouble.

I plan on traveling around Europe during the 17 days and returning to Spain to go to the airport and leave.

does anyone know if i am eligible for 90 day tourist visa after my student visa expires

or if the short amount of time i am over will even matter?

also i was wondering if i could somehow not get my passport stamped on entry.

i am leaving on Sept 1 to Bilbao to study if anyone can help answer my question THANKS!

I am not expert,

That being said, Spain is very laxed when it comes to passport issues.

On the other hand the UK is not. Don’t travel there if you have overstayed your Visa. You could wind up getting sent home.

Best of luck.
