Thanks for the good wishes.

Honestly this group started -and remained, very small, just a bunch of friends organising some evenings out and word spread etc, till we got to the point of wanting the website and to attract new people to increase our profile in negotiating good menus etc, as well as providing support to people re ‘where do I buy…’ etc.

I am sure that with the expat population around, it would be easy to get something similar going in CDS?  Let me know if you do, happy to help with website/exchange links etc,

Maya

Good luck with the group BDP!

There are a few veggie things on the CDS… very brief guide here!

Terra Sana - Nuea Andalucia/Fuengirola - some great veggie dishes on menu

Vegitallia - Fuengirola/Los Boliches - FAB lunchtime fixed price buffet

For the serious health food concious the MOA institue (a Japanese foundation for healthy living) recently opened a centre
in Los Boliches (near Train station).

Health Fair on 7/8th November at Norwegian School in c/Acapulco Los Boliches coming up

Vitamina?  health food shop in Los Boliches
Centro Idea - on Carreterra de Mijas - health food store (name?)
——-

On a personal note we are very lucky to have a great landlady who has given us free use of her land and we grow ‘nearly’ ogranic veg.  *We still use kitchen compost from shop bought items, so will not say it is 100% organic! (Although we are also lucky to live near a goat farm and we buy in natural fertilizer 😊
(We have a small client base and all say how wonderful it is)..

It sounds like you have some fantastic resources down there!  I wish I was near enough to buy your ‘nearly organic’ veg Susan!

Does anyone know of a good place to buy raw superfoods and ingredients online but within Spain?  I am buying some stuff from detoxyourworld in the UK but the shipping charges are very high, be great to buy more locally..?
