UK tax payer working in Spain for a few days

Hello, I am currently a sole trader UK resident, I spend time in Spain and wish to establish my trade there. I would like to carry out a small amount of work in Spain to determine if my trade will be successful there. I don't at this stage wish to commit to residency. Can I work for the odd day to determine the market without changing my UK status and tax obligations in the UK.
