I’m Laura from Barcelona, Spain and I’m new in this forum.
I need a lot of help from you guys.

My boyfriend is from Canada, and we want to get married hopefully next year.
we don’t even know how to start.

At the end, I’m gonna move to canada to live with him, but we want to get married in spain next summer. When should we start to do everything? what papers do we need and where do we need to go??

If we get married in Canada first, let’s say beginning of next year so I can get my papers, can we get married again in Spain later on??

And one more question, if he marries me, can he get the spanish citizenship?? I read somewhere that he has to be living in spain legally for at least one year, what does that mean? does he need to be working in spain or just live there?

I know is a lot of information what I’m asking for, but I’ve been reading a lot of websites and the only thing I do is getting more and more confused. If someone could help us… it would be great!!
