Hi there folks!
I'm an American assistant English teacher living between Santander and Bilbao up on the rainy northern coast. I've been here for nearly two years, and it's looking like I'll be staying here. I hope to participate in the 2012 oposiciones for a place as a proper English teacher at the E.S.O. level, and would love to know if anyone else has been through this process.
Other than that, I'd love to get to know anyone up here on the northern coast. English native speakers here are few and far between (naturally so, after all this is Spain...) and I live my life out of the classroom "in Spanish," so I'd be happy to speak English every now and then.
