Hello. We are in Salamanca to learn Spanish, so our Spanish is pretty bad and fear communicating with a phone or cable tv provider. We have found a furnished apartment for two months beginning tomorrow on Calle Caleros in an apartment building. We will need internet service for two months. In Spain is internet service only available on a phone line, or is it also available on a cable TV (possibly broadband=more speed) Telephonica seems pretty unpopular on this forum and I've read about Jazztel. I don't know if I qualify as an expat with merely 3 months here, but I need help knowing how to make the first step. The piso I'm in right now has great internet. It appears to come out of a "ono" box connected to a cable modem. Could I just arrange cable tv plus internet and forget about the telephone if I want in my new piso? Please help.

Hi

Most if not all ISP's will require a contract period of 12 months minimum.

If your requirement is for only two moths, I suspect your only option will be a pay-as-you-go USB dongle such as that provided by Vodafone or Telefonica (Movistar) or Orange.
