I’m a qualified teacher from Australia looking to relocate to Spain.

Q: Do I have to have Travel/Health Insurance in order to apply for Schengen Visa?

Q: Is there a list of preferred insurance providers? Or I could just use my current Australian insurer - Medibank Private?

Q: Is there any specific requirements I need to fulfill with the insurance policy, e.g., extent of coverage?

Q: What insurance documents do I need to provide with the visa application?

Hopefully someone could help me with these questions. I’m tearing my hair out trying to put together the visa application with all the necessary documents.
