i am trying to find a link to modelo 790 for ‘certificado de residencia’ to download, but i could not find it. it seems that each modelo has a different number written like ‘Codigo 006’ or ‘Codigo 012’. do you know the number of modelo 790 for certificado de residencia?

i think those who used it would know. i might just find it online as i found others.

It is the code 012 you need. You get it from the National Police station. Unlike the code 006 for birth/death certificates, copy wills etc, it is not presently available online - the code 012 is a three copy self carbonating form.

it gave me three forms of modelo 790 codigo 012. but it looks like it is for possessing weapons and army. so it must be something else.

The code 012 you want is the one you get from the police station not the one you have found which, as you say, is for something else entirely. As I understand it the code number is to direct the payment to the correct account/type of transaction at the ministry, however, this can be for a number of different applications.

You can pick up a Modelo 790 from your nearest Foreigners Office (Oficina de Extranjeros) or National Police Station (Comisar?a de Polic?a Nacional).
