Hi

We are a two friends from Belgium, looking for a place to rent in the Tarifa area, our budget would be around 500?.
We are not looking for sth luxurous but something with enough space for us and our three dogs. We are willing to help maintain the garden or do little renovations inside. My girlfriend worked as a property manager before while I have worked in IT. We have both taken a year off to make a new start in Andalucia.  We would be renting for at least one year.

Thanks for letting us know if you could help out.

We’ve already found some places but still a little too expensive or too far away from Tarifa. We found something in Barbate but are not really sure about living there. It’s probably a little smaller then Tarifa but is it allso a surf town? Does it have some bars, restaurants, nightlife (in summer, we realize it’s gona be dead in winter).

We’d really like to find something before we leave because we are travelling with dogs and it’s maybe a little difficult to find a hotel to stay with them, and also too hot to stay in our van.

So again if anyone knows a good rent for u in the tarifa area (looking for a country house/chalet, or at least sth with a garden), please let us know…

Thanx again

That’s why we were wondering if Barbate is a nice place too? Is it also a litlle surf city? Are there shops, bars anything lke that. We would like to be in the Tarifa region because we are thinking about opening a shop there but it’s not like we have to be there every day the first year.

Anyone knows Barbate a bit?
