I’m a recent college grad from the US & I was just placed in the Castilla La Mancha region to teach in the Auxiliares de Conversasion position through the Spanish governement.

Castilla La Mancha was not at all my first choice, but I’m gonna take it. Which city should I preference to live in for the year? Toledo, Albacete, Guadalajara..?

I lived in Sevilla for four months in college & loved it. As well, I lived in Leon for a summer years ago and liked it as well.

I would like a bigger city, a good place to improve my Spanish and an all around enjoyable, active, Spanish environment. Some kind of nightlife, parks, shopping would be a great plus- as well as good access to Madrid or other large cities.

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
